Dizzy and head-spinning, this is a difficult but great work. Merges the angular Krallice sound towards doom metal in certain parts. Adding Dave Edwardson from Neurosis pays benefits, but this pairing would be used to much greater effect on 2020's "Mass Cathexis." Still hard to believe that this was made at the same time as Go Be Forgotten... incredible.

The Best Batushka album so far. A Black Metal Classic!!! There are few albums that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track and this is on the top of the list. You almost have to listen to the album as a whole. Do yourself a favor and buy this album The true follow up to this album is Krzysztof Drabikowski Панихида (Panihida). Bart's Раскол / Raskol EP is also a good follow up to this album as well just not as close as Panihida sounds. 10/10

I downloaded the Djinn album that they gave away for free, and wow, it threw down! So, I checked out this one, and I think this USBM band kicks ass. I think I'm going to purchase their other one also. I got turned on to this band from Decibel magazine, and the USBM book.
