lyrics
The light is right and the fever is high. Stay in this lane, now take a right. If you don’t feel right you can stop off for a sleeve of saltines and a can of Sprite. I know my rights. You know you’re right. But I love to gamble, even though I know it’s not right. To throw my dice on my last hundred bucks, but I could double my chances if you blow just right. I could turn our luck around. I could make your night. I could change your life. I could be that guy. I could win it all. I could pierce your heart. I could make you smile. I don’t even have to try. You just have to trust me. I’ve been as low as they go. And I’ve come back, every time with my skull still grinning. Do exactly what I say. Somebody’s going to get hurt, but nothing bad is going to happen to you.

Absolutely beautiful, I love this combination of black metal with folk moments! This is another Panopticon's album that has been on my playlist for a long time. Just great and epic music! popiołem_słowa

"This record is in honor of the northern lights, which very few things in the world are more beautiful and awe inspiring than" and we can say the same of Panopticon's work. Even a EP with "leftover" songs carries so much beauty. Thetruebia

Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world.
This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms.
